Participating pharmacists in the inaugural Project IMPACT: Hyperlipidemia training class might well remember Ben Bluml's challenge put forth 25 years ago: “We need to use high-tech to create a high-touch experience for patients we serve.”
Accordingly, Project IMPACT: Hyperlipidemia set off a wave of Foundation initiatives that are successfully fusing new point-of-care technology innovations with optimized processes of care demonstrating the value of patient-centered, team-based care models that include pharmacists.
The group explored past, present, and future practice transformation innovations aimed at catalyzing efforts for inventing the preferred future pharmacists seek in healthcare delivery.
