Lauren Gravert

Lauren Gravert is a PharmD candidate of the class of 2025 at the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. Prior to pharmacy school, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Iowa in 2019. She currently serves as the APhA-ASP Region 5 Midyear Regional Meeting Coordinator, helping plan APhA's Midyear Regional Meeting, and serving as a liaison between the national APhA-ASP team and 6 states. Lauren has been involved with APhA-ASP since her first year as a student pharmacist. She served as Iowa's local APhA-ASP Chapter President Elect (2021-2022) and then APhA-ASP Chapter President (2022-2023). She has participated in multiple APhA Annual Meetings and Summer Leadership Institutes and has attended multiple Iowa Pharmacist Day on the Hill events, advocating for the profession. Outside of APhA-ASP, she serves as the Regional Historian for Kappa Psi’s Northern Plains Province, as well as the Vice Regent for Iowa's local Kappa Psi chapter. She is the Treasurer for Iowa's Phi Lambda Sigma chapter and is a Student Ambassador for the college.
Lauren has worked for the past five years at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in their outpatient pharmacies. She also works at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, as an intern in their Anticoagulation Clinic after completing an internship with them this past summer. She is involved in emergency medicine research with Dr. Brett Faine, PharmD, MS. Lauren's professional interests include pursuing a PGY-1 in Acute Care and a PGY-2 in Emergency Medicine.
