Hayden Wood is a third-year student pharmacist at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy and is concurrently pursuing an MBA at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Passionate about the intersection of clinical practice and business strategy, Hayden is committed to driving meaningful advancements in the pharmacy profession.
His diverse pharmacy experiences include internships in hospital and community pharmacy settings, as well as with the Arkansas Pharmacists Association (APA). As an Executive Student Intern at APA, he has played an active role in policy advocacy, professional networking, and organizing educational events to support the advancement of pharmacy practice in Arkansas. His dedication to advocacy extends to his role as the APhA-ASP Region 6 Regional Delegate, where he collaborates with student pharmacists nationwide to shape the future of pharmacy policy. Additionally, he serves on the APhA House of Delegates Policy Review Committee and as Executive Vice President of Policy and Legislation for his local APhA-ASP chapter.
Beyond pharmacy, Hayden enjoys exploring state and national parks with his dog and capturing the beauty of nature through photography. His commitment to the profession and leadership in pharmacy policy continue to fuel his aspiration to create lasting, positive change for patients and practitioners alike.
