APhA Foundation Scholarship

University of Kansas School of Pharmacy

I am currently a third-year student pharmacist at the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy. I have a great passion for enhancing patient care by advancing the profession of pharmacy. I discovered this passion during my first year of pharmacy school through involvement with my APhA-ASP chapter, and I have since made it my mission to create that experience for others in the profession.

Since this experience I have been blessed with many amazing opportunities through APhA such as serving as the APhA Carl F. Emswiller Summer Intern, APhA-ASP Region 6 Midyear Regional Meeting Coordinator, Chapter President, and have recently been appointed to serve on the APhA-ASP National Awards Standing Committee for the 25-26 academic year. I am also involved with the Kansas Pharmacists Association where I serve as the Student Academy Leader to the Board of Directors, volunteer as a member of the Practice Innovation Committee, and am currently conducting research on Pharmacy Association Engagement. Additionally, I am a member of Phi Lambda Sigma where I am a part of the 2024 Leader Academy cohort, I serve as a student ambassador for my school of pharmacy, and I am an active Kappa Psi "brother".

While I am keeping an open-mind for my final year of pharmacy school, I currently plan to pursue an association-based fellowship program with the intention to continue serving the profession of pharmacy.

Outside of pharmacy, I am a retired theatre kid, and I love to adventure, stay active, and take any opportunity to learn new things.
