Anneliese Harp

Anneliese Harp is a third year student pharmacist at the University of Pittsburgh. In addition to her PharmD, she is pursuing a Bachelor's of Philosophy with thesis (equivalent to a master's degree). She has two concentrations: Pharmacotherapy Scholars, a selective pre-residency program, and Geriatrics/Palliative Care. Anneliese graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a Minor in Chemistry and Certificate in the Conceptual Foundations of Medicine as a joint degree with the Honors College from the University of Pittsburgh.
At Pitt Pharmacy, Anneliese serves in many leadership positions. She is the Class President for the PharmD Class of 2025, President of Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association, President/Founder of the Association of Student Oncology Pharmacists, and Vice President of Policy in the American Pharmacists’ Association. Anneliese is a member of the executive boards for the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Phi Lambda Sigma, and Professional Council. She is also on various national and regional boards of Phi Lambda Sigma, the Allegheny County Pharmacists Association, the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association Student Advisory Board, and Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity. She is also involved in research projects, mentoring positions, advocacy projects, and assists with MUEs and professional projects in her workplace, UPMC Horizon, and University.
Outside of pharmacy school, Anneliese likes to read, watch movies, and explore new restaurants. Anneliese would like to thank her friends and family for their support, as well as the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy for all of the opportunities they have granted her.
