The APhA Foundation grants provide opportunities for practice-based research projects that enhance the health outcomes of numerous patients nationwide. These grants provide initial funding to establish or maintain innovative patient care services, encouraging practitioners to foster new ideas and become leaders in their field.
APhA Foundation provides an opportunity both to honor a special individual and aid in the advancement of future leaders in the pharmacy profession by establishing a named APhA Foundation Student Scholarship.
APhA Foundation celebrates those who demonstrate exceptional civic leadership, actively engage in community roles, and serve as mentors to the next generation of pharmacy professionals. These awards honor those who show a strong personal and professional commitment to advancing the pharmacy profession and contribute significantly to furthering the organization's mission.
The APhA Foundation supports and runs a number of programs that align with its mission of improving people’s health through pharmacists’ patient care services. These programs serve to provide resources to pharmacists with innovative ideas for expanding or improving patient care within pharmacy practice, to support students – the future leaders of the profession – in their pharmacy school studies, and to recognize pharmacists for their civic leadership in their communities and their contributions to the medication use process.
