“Empowering a pharmacy team to provide continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) services embraces patients to take control of their diabetes and bridges the referral gap one glucose reading at a time.”

"“Using technology to optimize diabetes management is one of my interests. There are many patients with uncontrolled diabetes in my community who can benefit from new advancements. Expanding the role of pharmacists and technicians to provide continuous glucose monitoring services will benefit patients with diabetes, especially those who are medically underserved."

"I am honored to be a recipient of an APhA Foundation Incentive Grant to help patients living with diabetes in my community have more access to regularly monitor their glucose levels. I am excited to introduce new technology to medically underserved patients that will help optimize their diabetes management with the assistance of a community pharmacy team."
